If you haven't heard of it before, Improvisational Comedy is making up
sketches, scenes songs and stand-up based purely on audience suggestion.
In other words, an audience tells prformers exactly what to do,
sing, say or where to go (potentially!), and the performers simply have
to do it - and what's more - make it funny!
The Crew are Melbourne's longest-running (and arguably best looking
:-))improvisational comedy troupe, made up of some of Australia's
favourite stand-up comedians, actors and writers, including Madeleine
West (Neighbours), Cameron Knight (Comedy Channel), and Rob Lloyd and
Nigel Walton (The Dodge) to name but a few.
The Crew have been perfoming improvisational comedy to packed houses
every Sunday night at The Comic's Lounge (26 Errol Street, Nth
Melbourne) for the past three years, plus have taken part in Melbourne
Comedy Festivals, Melbourne and Adelaide Fringe Festivals and have even
starred in two seasons of their own television show 'Instant T.V.', on
Channel 31.
