Terrorism, bulimia, Enid Blyton… It hasn’t always been glamour, glamour, glamour for this sassy Iranian. In the early '80s, Shappi became a refugee long before it was fashionable. Then Scotland Yard uncovered a plot to assassinate her father. Terror had followed them from Iran to West London. Feisty, flirty and effortlessly funny, Shappi handles every subject with razor sharp wit, softened by a deliciously dizzy delivery and endless charm. Don’t miss her first visit to Australia.

A night in a foreign city is not complete without having a taste of its nightlife. All our previous attempts through the week were disastrous in places like Framingham and Waltham. However, we have now moved to a hotel right in the middle of Boston CBD, so tonight should be better.

We finished a day earlier than expected, so ended up having a day to do a bit of sight-seeing around Boston. We decided to go Harvard and MIT for this day.

After much whining about how there is nothing to do around Sudbury and Framingham, we were invited out to Waltham for dinner and drinks at Watch City Micro-brewery in Waltham.

Framingham is a small town 20 miles from Boston CBD and was where Richard and I were staying during our trip to Boston. Our actual work was in Sudbury, which is about 6.5 miles from Framingham. We decided to stay here instead of Sudbury, 'cause all the google searching told us Sudbury was a very small town with nothing in it... not even a pub.

Marketing blurb says, "Nobody talks about love anymore, especially not men. They're too busy talking about cars, beer or footy, all good topics in their own right, but none of which are going to help you find love in this crazy world. Not knowing anything about cars or footy (but with a fairly good grounding in beer), young comedian Kent Valentine (JJJ, Joker Poker) devised an experiment to discover the formula for finding love. It involved researching ways that others find love, then testing them all to find out which one works best. As it happened, none of them worked, but the results were funny, and fit nicely into 45 minutes."

The marketing blurb says, "Lehmo is back with an amazing all new show about his Christmas and new year adventure to the middle east to entertain Australian, British and American troops. Lehmo shares tales of life in a war zone including gun battles at midnight, black hawk rides in the desert and shopping in Dubai. Come along for the ride as this brilliant storyteller sheds some light on the front line and has a few laughs as well."
