 Today, Dimi and Joe finally got married. Joe being Lebanese and Dimi being Greek, they had two ceremonies one after the other followed by the reception later in the night.

Here I am stuck in Sydney and feeling a bit bored and in the mood to party. Unfortunately, all my contacts are either out of town or not responding to me messages. Hence, I decided to check out the Trivia Night at a nearby pub. I've never been to a pub trivia night before, so thought it might be fun.

MBS was hosting an end-of-term party at the Felix Bar where all staff and students were invited and a sizeable tab was also on offer.

 He is one of Britain's favourite comics. He has done stand up comedy, television shows and devotes a lot of time to Comic Relief in the UK, a charity which has raised many millions of dollars for AIDS projects in Britain and Africa.

 The second day was set aside to go see the Twelve Apostles and drive along the Great Ocean Road. As usual, we just could not get out of the house early enough.

We decided to show our relatives around Victoria. They had come to Melbourne all the way from India and Kenya and who knows when they would get a chance to come back. Priyanka and I thought that it would be good to show them around Victoria a little bit. So I hired a 12 seater Toyota mini-bus for two days. The first day was planned to go see the fairy penguins in Phillip Island.

The reception was set for Sunday night at Princes Court Receptions. As far as I was concerned, the reception was the most important part of all the ceremonies. I wanted it to be the best party I've thrown and one that will be remembered for a long long time. Hence, everything had to be perfect as I spent a lot of time planning it.

 The wedding was set for Friday night at the ISKCON Temple in Albert Park followed by some food. Initially, we were only going to have a small ceremony with only family available, but later (about 2 weeks ago), we decided to invite a few close friends as well.

I got officially engaged to Priyanka today. The ceremony started with a "Havan" conducted by priests from the Hare Krishna temple followed by the actual ceremony followed by dinner and then dancing. Priyanka has written up a very good description of the night in her diary at Whispering Winds Photos from the evening have been uploaded to my Gallery.

My buck's night was supposed to be last Saturday, but for some reason it was delayed by a week. For a moment, I was worried that it wouldn't take place at all, but Pete finally got his act together and had organized it. The invites went out only yesterday, so the expected attendance was always going to be a lot less than I was expecting.
